The State has filed a petition for review of the non-final order entered by the Circuit Court in the proceeding on relinquishment of jurisdiction in Case No. SC062391 in which the trial court granted Lightbourne’s motion for a view of the execution chamber and to witness a walk through of the revised lethal injection procedures. The State also moves this Court for a protective order from further discovery requests in that proceeding.

Lightbourne shall file a response to the State’s petition and motion no later than 12 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2007. The State shall file its reply no later than

5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2007.
