The protocol was signed by DOC Secretary James R McDonough August 16, 2006 - same day

The same day lawyer Todd Doss was informed that a death warrant was signed for Clarence Hill and Hills family was noticed same day.

Lawyer Todd Doss or Clarence Hills family, nor any other Florida defense lawyers were noticed about the new Florida lethal injection protocol, which obviously was to be hidden from publish by its CONFIDENTIAL note on the protocol.

It seems clear that this FLORIDA SECRECY was planned going to be the Florida execution method in coming cases, and this later ended in the cruel torture of Angel Diaz.
