The worst thing you can do, is to do nothing at all!

Rick Halperin is a well known activist against the deathpenalty from Texas. For years he has been working tirelessly to abolish the death penalty. It will take a month to mention everything he did and is doing to stop executions.

And he has no plans to stop now.

He strongly believes the death penalty will be abolished, hopefully within this generation. The system is completely broken in all and every way possible and has to stop!

He gave the public some facts and figures about the death penalty in the US and you could hear a pin drop.

It was chocking news..

Rob Warden is a award winning legal affairs journalist from Illinois and the board leader for Center of Wrongful convictions. For more than 20 years he has been working with innocent people in the American prison system and several on death row. Out of more than twenty innocent cases he worked with, six people came out of death row. According to Rob Warden innocent people have been executed.

In lot of cases he is working on, it also turns out that “snitchers” are frequently used to get
innocent people convicted.

What can we do?

Juan finally told the audience:

The worst thing you can do, is to do nothing at all!

Read about the death penalty and get involved NOW! There are thousands still back there who need help. Join Amnesty. There are also several other big anti death penalty groups out there who need your support. Tell the world what is going on

and help us abolish the death penalty!

Juan, Rick and Rob:

Thank you for what you are doing. You make it worthwhile!
