Warden Randall Bryant was in charge of the execution and present for the insertion of Mr. Diaz's IVs and present in the execution chamber during the administration of the chemicals. (T. 193, 676).
Assistant Warden Willie Dixon and Assistant Warden Randall Polk were second and third in command, respectively, and were also present in the execution chamber during the administration of the chemicals.
Major William Muse, Lieutenant Gregory Anders, Colonel Dwight Mallard, and Colonel Lorie Thomas were also present in the execution chamber.
