There are a multitude of actions involved in preparing for and carrying out an execution, including institutional security, visitation, and inmate care concerns.
A complete description of the responsibilities of the warden and the execution team are too numerous to detail in a report of this nature.
However, it was determined from interviews that that these preliminary matters were attended to by the Warden.
