Deep inside, they know that capital punishment and all its trimmings is ethically and morally repulsive

Some say? Hell how more unprepared can one be? And all this kuckkuckoland secrecy?

If there are going to be executions, let the executioner be proud of what he is doing, not ashamed. Executions should be televised, hanging 'em on the goal posts during an NFL game, half-time or seventh inning stretch. Re broadcast them along with the weather report at the evening news, or better yet with Sesame Street. Let the young folks learn their sense of morality young; never mind the ripped of head dancing in air. Let the buzzards clean off the flesh with the malefactor on a wheel up in the air. If hanging is not uncruel enough, pull him apart by four SUVs on each extremity, being careful to put a plastic tarp underneath him a cover him so as to surgically clean, and prevent too much blood from being seen.

Come on Florida, you can out do Hollywood!! If the execution is an honorable act, why all this micky-mouse secrecy?

The answer is simple: deep inside, they know that capital punishment and all its trimmings is ethically and morally repulsive, and an insult to God, who made all of us in his image. All know deep in their subconscious that executions are morally wrong, ethically wrong and practically wrong. In the 4000 years of recorded history, executions have not reduced crime, and murder has not gone away. Florida, stop the illusion, and do away with the death penalty!

A public execution is the best argument for abolition.
